Since becoming the new owner of Fantastic Feet and Rohnert Park City Ballet, I have made some exciting changes and I want the new positive energy to continue. I would like to form an Adult Communication Team to help this energy maintain a pace of growth we are all looking forward to. This volunteer organization will be entitled "ACT 1". My vision is to have a positive communication structure that will promote a common goal. So I believe what is needed is an adult representative from each class. This representative will work closely with the teacher, regarding any studio information that affects all the dancers. This information will flow from the director to the teacher and then to the parents. This is not instead of class flyers, newsletters etc. It is designed to be in addition too. If you are interested in being a class rep. for ACT 1, please let me know as soon as possible.
The first goal is to have our dancers experience their recital performance in a Professional Theater. We have a booking for this -January 31, 2004 at Sonoma State University in the Person Theater. To help offset the cost we will be having a rummage sale on October 18 at the Cross and Crown Lutheran Church. Please feel free to drop off your donations at the studio in boxes or bags. We also need volunteers to help with setting up, sales and clean up. Everyone doing a little will help a lot. A meeting for everyone is scheduled for Friday Sept. 19th here at the studio. You may attend at 10:00 am. or 7:00 pm. meeting. The details of the sale will be the topic for this meeting. A parent, Gayle Bergman, is chairperson for the sale and she is ready to meet us and organize us. She is also open to having a co-chairperson.
Thank you in advance. The teachers and myself are so looking forward to the new experiences that await the dancers. Join us in the spirit of co-operation to make our studio the best place to dance!

Winter Recital:
| Date: | January 31, 2004 | |
| Times: | TBA (probably same times as previous recitals - 3:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m.) | |
| Place: | Person Theatre at Sonoma State University |
Parent volunteers will be needed in many areas before and during the recital. Beforehand things like painting sets, making props and helping with costumes would be appreciated. During the recital children will need to be monitored as they wait their turn to perform and to make sure they are safely picked up by the right adult.
Teddy Bear Tea Party:
| Date: | TBA | |
| Time: | TBA - probably 2-4 p.m. like we did this year. | |
| Place: | TBA - probably at Park Ridge Apartments again unless any one else has other suggestions. |
This is a fun way to raise money! Grandparents love this event! It's an easy way for them to spend some time with their grandchildren without having to make the food or clean up the mess. And entertainment is provided!
More will be announced on this later.
Rummage Sale:
Once again this was a successful event. We turned our discards into dollars! We made $1200.00 this year! Thank you to all who helped. To read more about this or to give ideas on how you might be able to help with this next year, please see our events page.
