Rohnert Park City Ballet proudly presents a gathering of professional dance artists native to Sonoma County. All of these dancers have studied with Tamara Grose, Artistic Director and instructor of RPCB.

Flying in from Texas Ballet Theater will be Corrina Peterson, a Sonoma County native, and her husband Andre-Claude Kaltenrieder. Corrina is in her seventh season with TBT. Canadian born, Andre-Claude was trained at the National Ballet School and at the Quinte Ballet School in Ontario. Corrina's and her husband Andre have a young son named Vincent.

Other featured professional performers all native to Sonoma County are Gabrielle Thompson, Alyssa Stark, and Sarah Johnson-LeDonne who will narrate a lecture demo. Also featured will be Russell Dawson and David Bertlin of Oakland Ballet.

Along with the guest artists, core dancers from RPCB will dazzle the audience with their talent. There will be two performances featuring excerpts from Raymonda proceeded by a lecture demo of the younger levels of future professionals!

Rummage Sale:

Special thanks goes to the organizer, Gayle Bergman, who did a wonderful job getting our second annual rummage sale going again and coordinating everything. It was a very successful event and we raised $1,200.00! A special thanks also goes to Reverand Newton and Julie Kerney for letting us use the big parking lot, tables and chairs at the Cross and Crown Lutheran Church. We could not have had a better location! Julie was there at 6:00 am. setting up tables in the dark and by the end of the day she was still there cleaning up. Judy Shone did a great job with the pricing for weeks before the sale.

Toy Sale

Once again Judy Shone did a great job with the toy sale. She spent hours doing inventory, pricing and selling the toys. Thanks also to Peter Bergman, Ellen Wynkoop and Lynley McAfee for helping with the sales. Thank you to all the parents and grandparents who supported us in this sale. This was a good fundraiser and has helped with our story ballet fund. We'll perform "Secret Garden" yet!

Performing Arts Festival

Many thanks goes to Judy & Hilary Shone, and Lynley, Kristy & Katie McAfee for their hard work that day. Judy did a wonderful job with the signs and tirelessly manned the table all day. Hilary, Kristy and Katie did a good job with table set up. Our display looked wonderful!

Also a big thank you goes to Peter Bergman for laying down the marley floor on stage and then putting it back in the dance studio. A big job and we really appreciate you doing that again!

Thanks also to all the dancers who came to show off their stuff. We wowed the audience! Great job!

Opening Ceremony for New Rohnert Park Library

Thank you to Judy Shone for doing the beautiful signs and displays; to Gayle Bergman for helping with costumes and changing the dancers in two seconds; and to Peter Bergman for doing the marley floor for us. Special thanks also to the dancers and their parents for coming to the extra practices and participating in this event. You did a great job and the audience was impressed with your debut. People wondered where we have been hiding! What talent! (not to mention all the hard work you put in every week!)
