The Rohnert Park City Ballet (RPCB) is committed to having high quality instructors guide the student through the process of learning proper technique and performance skills. The goal is to provide as many opportunities as possible for the young dancer to joyfully experience ballet as an art form. RPCB plans to perform a full-length ballet in February of each year featuring guest artists. Auditions will be held in August.

Dress Code and Class Levels

To develop dancers with a well-rounded dance education, the dancer must commit him/her self to the learning of proper technique. Within this spectrum of dance education, students will adhere to a strict but necessary dress code and class schedule. This format is used in all professional ballet schools around the world.

Each level shall be assigned a specific color leotard. The directors of the program will determine the levels. These are based on the abilities of the individual dancer. It is important that students and parents understand that the directors review each student individually. They take into consideration all the factors that decide where a student is to be placed in accordance to their needs as a dancer. This process may be difficult to adjust to at first but is a necessary tool in safely building a well-rounded dancer.
